Industrial signals are loosely associated as process are 0-5VDC, 0-10VDC, millivolts DC and the most popular 20mA loops (e.g. 4-20mA). These are scaled as a range in engineering units e.g. 0-10VDC = 0-500 Litres Per Hour.
